Development: Khabib Refusing To Fight McGregor Under Existing Contract

Despite the heavy rumors that Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov is all but locked up for November’s UFC 229 event, the UFC lightweight champion insists his conditions still must be met.

According to Khabib, he will not sign to fight Conor McGregor unless the UFC restructures his UFC contract. The champ states that he will not make millions of dollars for the UFC and Conor McGregor and only make $200,000.00 for his part.

For the champ, his current contract is not sufficient for a fight of this magnitude, and he says if the UFC is not willing to budge, he will fight Dustin Poirier for his regular wage.
