On Saturday, UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor hosted an interview in front of a live audience that aired via online pay-per-view.
The interview, conducted by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, took place at EventCity exhibition center in Manchester, England.
On Instagram, McGregor boasted saying his interview would have a higher attendance than the UFC event happening at the same time. In Denver, the UFC was hosting an event on FOX headlined by Valentina Shevchenko fighting Julianna Pena.
“I’m so made!” McGregor wrote as his caption. Heading to do a Q and A in front of 5000 fans! You read that right. That’s more than UFC attendance tonight.”
McGregor continued to boast and said, “[Expletive] the UFC. [Expletive] Floyd. [Expletive] boxing. [Expletive] the WWE. [Expletive] Hollywood. And [Expletive] you too pay me.”
While McGregor says his interview would have more attendees, Saturday’s UFC event drew over 13,000 people.
