Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz met in the main event of “Bellator 170” in one of the most anticipated Bellator fights in recent memory as the two Ultimate Fighting Championship veterans marketed the fight brilliantly. There was some concern from within the mixed martial arts community what kind of shape Sonnen would be in given the fact that he has not stepped foot inside a cage for active competition since “UFC 167” in 2013.
UFC lightweight Tony Martin watched the fights on Saturday evening and saw Sonnen lost in relatively quick fashion. Martin decided to dish out some jokes about Sonnen’s past use of performance-enhancing drugs, saying:
