UFC bantamweight contender Cat Zingano took a stroll down memory lane on Thursday.
On her Instagram, Zingano posted a highlight video of her UFC debut in 2013. In her first UFC fight, Zingano pulled off a major upset when she defeated Miesha Tate by TKO to earn a shot at the UFC title against then UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
“Good times… The difference between a bark and at bite,” Zingano wrote as her caption.
Following her win over Tate, Zingano title shot was put on hold after being plagued with injuries. After being on the shelf for well over a year, Zingano returned to the UFC to defeat current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes by TKO. Zingano is the last women to defeat the current champion.
Despite being on a two-fight losing streak, losing a title fight to Rousey and a decision to Julianna Pena in July, Zingano is still one of the top 135-pound women fighters in the world. Her wins over Nunes, Tate, and Raquel Pennington show she is capable of being a world champion.
