Long time UFC commentator Mike Goldberg’s final ringside performance was at UFC 207, after the recent change in UFC leadership decided to make some changes within the promotion. The seasoned commentator’s absence has not gone unnoticed since.
UFC 208 featured a three man team of seasoned veteran Joe Rogan, former ESPN anchor Jon Anik and light heavyweight champion Daniel “D.C.” Cormier.
For March’s upcoming UFC 209 event, it would appear that UFC plans to stick with the new three man team format. Joe Rogan and Jon Anik will be joined by former bantamweight champion and number one contender Dominick Cruz.
Tyron Woodley and Stephan Thomspon will take the main event of UFC 209, as Woodley will attempt to defend his welterweight title and come back from his recent draw with the number one contender.
The event will take place on March 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
