Mickey Gall’s made quite a splash in the UFC.
He started with the promotion after Dana White discovered him on his reality show, “Looking for a Fight”. When Gall won the fight on the show, he called out former WWE champion CM Punk.
The 25-year-old got his wish and submitted Punk in the first round at UFC 203 in September. After the fight, Gall called out “Looking for a Fight” alum Sage Northcutt. Gall received the fight and ended up winning by second-round submission at UFC on Fox 22 in December. He called out UFC veteran Dan Hardy but the Englishman declined the offer, citing the difference in actual fight experience between them.
It seems now though, the tide has turned and according to Gall (4-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), fighters are calling him out even though he didn’t name who they were.
“I enjoy it,” Gall told MMA Junkie via MMA Mania. “I like hearing them. This is a good thing when everyone’s calling your name and saying things. I like it. It gives me plenty of people to fight. There’s plenty of people who want to fight me, and that’s good. I hope they keep saying my name – all the idiots, keep saying it. I like it. I really do.
“Stop trying to pull names out of me. I’m not trying to give them the satisfaction of saying any of the idiots’ names.”
On who he would like to face next inside the octagon, Gall said it didn’t matter to him.
“I’ll fight someone with 30 fights, 40 fights, whatever,” Gall exclaimed. “I’d be more than happy to. I’d like to.”
