When Conor McGregor entered the UFC scene just a few years ago, no one knew what was ahead of them.
For most, Conor’s first performance inside the Octagon was impressive, but we didn’t actually expect the outspoken Irishman to be able to deliver on his day 1 predictions.
He defied the odds and proved everyone wrong when he easily knocked out Jose Aldo in 14 seconds. He did it again when he easily took out Eddie Alvarez to become the first and only man in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously.
Now Conor wants to remind his doubters to never bet against him, and he did so in a statement to his instagram.
“They doubted me then too.”
Conor McGregor has made it known that the only person he wants to fight is Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather has also made it clear that Conor is also the only man he wants to fight.
Not many professionals in the industry believe this fight can happen, and that’s because the UFC own Conor’s life as a prize-fighter. Conor has stated that he hopes the UFC will play a part in his fight against Floyd, but has stated that they need to know their place.
