Dana White On The Time He Got Jumped In The Street, Brutally Beaten By Thugs

Years ago UFC President Dana White went into detail about his Menier’s Disease and the brutal way he received the condition. In an interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, White explained that his disease is rooted in a tragic mugging in the Boston area.

“When I was 21-years-old, I lived in Boston and I got jumped one night at this bar. These dudes beat the living [expletive] out of me for about a good 20 minutes, literally, until the police came.” White said.

The UFC president associates his Menier’s Disease with the brutal attacks he received to his left ear during the mugging.

Menier’s Disease is a non-curable disorder in the inner ear, which causes frantic cases of vertigo.

White admitted that he attempted a controversial surgery to aid the condition, but the operation did not go as planned.

“This was my first follow up and the [expletive] surgery was a complete disaster, so that’s why I’ve been so [expletive] up lately. Seventy percent of the people it helps; I’m the other 30 percent that went the other way. So now I have almost completely lost the hearing in this ear. My hearing is almost completely gone and I’ve been having attacks every day.”
