Following Barclays Center’s event on Saturday at “UFC 208”, Dana White decided to share some good news on Twitter. The inaugural women’s featherweight title fight between former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and now featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie, seems to have pulled in quite the draw.
White posted, “Thanks Barclays Center Brett, Fred, Keith for helping us make this the highest grossing sporting event in arena history. 2 NYC arena records.”

Brett Okamoto of ESPN tweeted earlier in the night that the event had allegedly sold out, creating over $2 million in sales.
Per Dana White, UFC 208 tonight is sold out. $2+ million gate at Barclays.
