Back in May, UFC President Dana White talked about a potential fight between himself and UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
White was asked about whether or not he could beat Rogan while as a guest on The Dan Patrick Show.
“Joe Rogan is a very well-rounded guy,” White said. “He was a taekwondo champion, and he’s a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I would not like to fight Joe Rogan. No, I’m good with that.”
White didn’t hesitate to admit he would not do well in a fight against Rogan due to his extensive background in jiu-jitsu and taekwondo.
This past week marked the 20th anniversary of Rogan working with the UFC. In Feb. 1997, at UFC 12, Rogan made his UFC debut as a backstage interviewer. Since then, Rogan has become the main color commentator for UFC pay-per-view events. Rogan’s voice can be heard during the majority of the greatest moments in UFC history.
