Derek Brunson suited up for his return to the octagon with just three weeks notice, and he feels as if he should have walked away with the win when it was all said and done. Anderson “Spider” Silva stood opposite of Brunson inside the cage at “UFC 208” in the Barclays Center and gave the crowd an entertaining back-and-forth fight in the co-main event spot.
Brunson repeatedly shot for the takedowns which Silva stuffed with ease. The takedowns blocked were approaching double-digits for Silva, but Brunson believes he did enough in other areas to walk way with the win:
