When Kelvin Gastelum first made his way into the octagon as a middleweight after having won the Ultimate Fighter Finale against Uriah Hall, he made the quick transition to welterweight where he dominated Brian Melancon. However, it wasn’t long before the weight-cut issues started settling in and by the time he was ten fights into his career inside the cage, he had already missed weight three times.
