Bobby Lashley, who is the TNA Heavyweight Champion and a Bellator figher, wants a fight with Brock Lesnar, who is a star in WWE and a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.
“I want that fight with Brock Lesnar,” Lashley told Sports Illustrated. “I don’t care if it’s the ring, the cage, or in a street fight.
“Brock is at one of the highest points in the business, so high that they’re trying to bring him down to make other stars. Brock brings legitimacy to the business, and he has Paul Heyman with him to do everything else he can’t do. I’m completely up for that fight.”
Lashley wouldn’t mind facing Lesnar in an MMA fight or in a professional wrestling match.
One major problem with this callout is Lashley works for rival companies of the UFC and WWE, who both have Lesnar under contract.
Even though Lashley competes for TNA wrestling, he was once a star for the WWE. In 2007, he wrestled alongside President Donald Trump at WrestleMania 23. A few months after that match, Lashley left the WWE.
In MMA, Lashley is on an eight-fight win streak and has an overall record of 15-2. He is unbeaten in Bellator with five wins. Three of Lashley’s Bellator wins have come by submission, while his other two came by TKO.
