Last weekend, CM Punk told Fox Sports he’s been in contact with the UFC and is looking for a fight. He’s been giving UFC president Dana White names of fighters to face and dates he would like to fight on, but so far to no avail.
Apparently, some one was reading because the former WWE champion has spoken up on the matter.
Chinese welterweight Li Jingliang, whose coming off a second-round submission victory over Bobby Nash this past Saturday at UFC on Fox 23 threw down the gauntlet to Punk.

Jingliang is 12-4 overall and 4-2 in the UFC while Punk lost his first career fight to Mickey Gall by first round submission at UFC 203 in September.
It is extremely unlikely the UFC would book the fight due to the 15-fight discrepancy but you can’t blame Jingliang for trying. Would be an easy win and put yourself on the map.
For Jingliang’s sake, you can always hope.
