Fight fans got a big dose of disappointing news when it was announced that Matt Mitrione would be unable to face Fedor Emelianenko in the main event of Bellator 172 last night. The announcement came only hours before their scheduled fight and no replacement fight was made due to time constraints.
Although many fans were upset at Mitrione for not fighting Fedor, it seems that many also thought he was simply trying to back out of the fight because he was scared. He jumped on his social media to address the situation and assure everyone that he’s in a lot of pain and that fear wasn’t a contributing factor whatsoever.
Thank you for understanding the misery I've been in trying to pass this big ass stone without so much as an aspirin. #StillHasntPassed

And for y'all fools that have the nerve to claim that I'm scared or faking, come hold these nuts while I try to finally pee this stone out
