The world was shocked when it was announced that (ex) UFC commentator Mike Goldberg would be leaving the UFC. The longtime voice of the Octagon was just as much apart of the UFC fight night experience as his broadcast partner Joe Rogan, yet under the new ownership he was deemed expendable.
Last week Bellator president Scott Coker revealed that he might be interested in picking up Goldberg for the Viacom owned MMA promotion.
Now on Twitter, Goldberg is saying,
“Thx for the love and support! Missed calling the fights at UFC 208 with my powerful partner, Joe Rogan. You’ll see me around soon.”

Following his departure, Goldberg’s position was filled by UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel “DC” Cormier and experienced UFC announcer Jon Anik. The two joined Joe Rogan for UFC 208, creating a classic trio announcer team.
