ONE Welterweight Champion Ben Askren will defend his title on April 21 at a ONE event in Manilla.
As of now, ONE has yet to officially announce an opponent for Askren. However, Askren says he has accepted an opponent.

On Twitter, Askren said he accepted a rematch against Luis Santos. In April 2015, Askren defended his title against Santos. However, the fight ended in the first round after Askren unintentionally poked Santos in the eye. The fight was ruled a no contest.
Santos has since gone on a two-fight win streak. His two recent victories pushed his official MMA record to 63-9-1-1.
Askren is undefeated with 15 wins. He is coming off a successful title defense in April when he won a decision against Nikolay Aleksakhin.
Before joining ONE, Askren was the Bellator welterweight champion. In Bellator, Askren had notable title wins against Jay Hieron, Andrey Koreshkov, and current Bellator Welterweight Champion Douglas Lima.
