Ev Ting is one of the top prospects in ONE FC, the premier MMA organization based out of Asia.
“ONE FC, they’ve honestly changed my life in a lot of ways,” Ting said. “I’ve been with them for four years now. I just want to keep working my way up. It’s my time.”
Ting is on a three-fight win streak and has an overall record of 6-1 in the ONE promotion.
While all his wins in ONE have come as a featherweight, Ting will move up to the lightweight division to fight his biggest name to date, Kamal Shalorus.
Shalorus is a veteran of the UFC and WEC. He was unbeaten in WEC with three wins and a draw against former WEC Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner. Shalorus went on to fight three times in the UFC. He lost all of his UFC fights, but lost to three of the best lightweights in the history of the sport, Jim Miller, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos.
Ting will fight Shalorus in the main event of ONE Championship: Throne of Tigers on Feb. 10 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
