The Grammy Awards took place on Sunday night from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Eighteen performances took place including those from Adele, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood and Metallica feat. Lady Gaga. But, it was one which stood out more than the others.
Legendary hip-hop group, ‘Tribe Called Quest’ performed alongside rap legend Busta Rhymes. After beginning the song by breaking a wall, the rapper made comments directed United States President, Donald Trump.
“I just want to thank President Agent Orange, perpetuatin’ all of the evil, that you’ve been perpetuatin’ throughout the United States,” Rhymes shouted. “I want to thank President Agent Orange for your unsuccessful attempt at the Muslim ban. We’ve come to govern. We the people! We the people! We the people!”

The performance wasn’t the only comments made towards the Trump administration when Katy Perry also made a statement wearing an armband that simply read “PERSIST,” which is a reference to Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), whom Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) silenced on the senate floor last week when Warren wanted to read a speech and was told to leave the session.
