Adriano Moraes carries an impressive record under his belt, with a 15-2 slate, being a former ONE flyweight champion and the current interim ONE flyweight champion.
He was the very first flyweight champion in the ONE Championship organization with his second round guillotine choke of Geje Eustaquio at ONE: Rise of the Kingdom.
After losing to Kairat Akhmetov by split decision at ONE: Dynasty of Champions, Moraes has had to make his way back to the belt.
The first opponent in his way was Eugene Toquero. The two hit the mat in March of 2016 at ONE: Union of Warriors.
Shutting down the fight at the tail end of the first round, Moraes defeated Toquero by submission at 4:53 of the bout with a D’arce choke.
Moraes went on to defeat Tilek Batyrov at ONE: Heroes of the World for the interim flyweight title.
