Replay: Remembering Roger Gracie’s ONE Title Win [Video]

Current ONE light heavyweight champ, multiple time BJJ world champion and UFC veteran Roger Gracie says he's hanging the gloves up.

Roger Gracie is an experienced fighter, with time spent on the mat in Strikeforce, UFC, and now ONE Championship.

His most recent achievement was becoming the first and only light heavyweight champion of ONE Championship.

Scoring a submission victory over Michal Pasternak, Gracie finished Pasternak in the first round with an arm-triangle choke. The inaugural light heavyweight championship bout was held at ONE: Ascent to Power in May of last year.

The bout didn’t take long, as Gracie planted the submission around 2:13 into the first round. Pasternak attempted to keep things on the feet, but failed to provide any compelling strikes.

Pasternak pushed Gracie against the cage and was then caught in a clinch with the third degree BJJ black belt.

Gracie swiftly ended the struggle by tripping Pasternak to the mat and finishing with the choke.

Roger Gracie is currently 2-0 in ONE Championship.
