Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not been seen since her devastating knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at “UFC 207” late last year. Now, Ronda taken to her social media account while posting this cryptic message: “A ship in the harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships are for.” The post is hash-tagged, “quotephase.”
While this is certainly an ambiguous message, Rousey has been busy with new ventures as of late.
The former champion recently landed a role in the television show Blindspot. Perhaps Rousey is hinting beginning a larger focus on her acting career, as her return to the UFC seems unlikley.
This is not the first time Rousey has posted a cryptic message to social media in “quotephase.” The fighter has previously posted a Confucious quote, “What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others.”
