With Ronda Rousey seeming to be leaning towards retirement, who is the new face of Women’s MMA in the UFC?
Paige VanZant seemed to be on the verge of it after a runner-up finish on “Dancing With The Stars” and then a highlight reel KO of Bec Rawlings at UFC on Fox 21 in August.
It all came crashing down when “12 Gauge” was submitted in the first round by Michelle Waterson at UFC on Fox 22 in December.
Now, the UFC seems to making a push for the “Karate Hottie” to be the one and now she’s being represented by one of the best agents in the world.
Worth noting, as well, that Waterson recently signed with Ronda Rousey's agent @slate9 of WME to rep her following the PVZ win.

Brad Slater is apart of WME which also happens to own the UFC. Slater has represented Rousey since 2014 and also is the agent for WWE and action movie star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Rumors had circulated Waterson would get a crack at women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 210 on April 8. The champion shot those down quickly this past weekend during a media scrum at the UFC on Fox 23 show.
It is unknown who she will face next but if the No. 7 ranked strawweight continues to put on performances like the VanZant fight, we could have the next face of Women’s MMA.
