UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony Johnson revealed he didn’t know he had knocked Glover Teixeira’s tooth out in their last fight.
“I hit him, and you see the tooth fly out of his mouth and it went through the roof, the ceiling, it went into outer space, hit an astronaut, you can’t get away with anything,” Johnson said about a video he saw online. “But I didn’t know I knocked his tooth out.”
Johnson knocked out the former UFC title challenger in his last fight back in August at UFC 202. Johnson is currently on a three-fight win streak where he knocked out all of his opponents. His win streak includes knockout wins over Jimi Manuwa and Ryan Bader.
Johnson is scheduled to fight for the UFC title in his next outing. He will fight UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 210 on April 8 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
