Standout ji-jitsu practitioner and MMA prospect Mackenzie Dern will make her return to the cage on March 10 at LFA 6 when she battles Katherine Roy.
Dern (2-0), an ADCC and no gi BJJ world champion made her MMA debut in July, defeating Kenia Rosas by unanimous decision. Then, she returned in October and was able to use what brought her to the dance, submitting Montana Stewart by a pretty slick rear-near choke in the first round.
Roy (1-0), 31, is a veteran of the U.S. Army SGT and a 2015 Golden Gloves champion made her pro debut in July at WSOF-GC 3 in the Philippines and netting a unanimous decision victory over May Ooi.
LFA 6 will take place from the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, TX and will air on AXS TV. The main event will feature Rivaldo Junior going up against Ray Rodriguez. The co-main event features Larry Crowe fighting former University of Alabama linebacker Eryk Anders.
