Initially set to fight UFC heavyweight Todd Duffee at UFC 209, Mark Godbeer will now find a new opponent in Daniel Spitz.
Todd Duffee has backed out of the event, leaving Godbeer without a bout.
Initially reported by FloCambat, Daniel Spitz will now be making his UFC debut against “The Hand of” Godbeer at UFC 209 in Buffalo, New York at the KeyBank Center.
While Godbeer is coming off of a loss by submission to Justin Ledet at UFC Fight Night 99 last year, Spritz currently holds a perfect professional record of 5-0.
The two are set to fight on March 4.
Todd Duffee did not give a reason for his bout removal. At the time of this report it is unknown why he was pulled. The duo were originally stated to open the pay-per-view card. But, due to Duffy’s absence this fight is probably prelims bound.
Stay tuned.
