Fighting, tutu’s and the UFC heavyweight champion of the world? Yes, we said it.
Last night, the Strong Style Fight Team fighter was decided to try something different in his sparring.
I wanted to work on my footwork. What better way than wearing a tutu and doing ballet while sparing. #andstill #heavyweightchamp #thatsright #letsgo
Posted by Stipe Miocic on Thursday, February 2, 2017
“I wanted to work on my footwork,” Miocic said on his Facebook page. “What better way than wearing a tutu and doing ballet while sparing.”
Miocic throws a couple light kicks and punches and then Miocic puts his hands on hips and says to the sparring partner, “Start hitting me.”
It is hard to believe Miocic though. Seems like he lost a bet and had to go through with it.
Miocic is coming off of a banner 2016, winning the heavyweight championship by knockout at UFC 198 in May against Fabricio Werdum and then scoring a first-round stoppage in his hometown of Cleveland at UFC 203 against Alistair Overeem.
The Ohio native doesn’t have his next title set as he is currently in a contract dispute with the UFC.
