UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has pulled up a reputation for speaking his mind and it would appear that the champion does not have any plans to change his ways anytime soon.
On Sirius XM Rush’s The Countdown, “The Count” recently explained that he does not believe former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has his level of fighting spirit. He thinks he doesn’t like being punched in the face. Apparently there are degrees of face punching displeasure.
On The Countdown, Bisping said “Of course, nobody enjoys getting punched in the face. But, there is a part of me that (expletive) loves that. I love getting down and dirty.” Bisping said. “I’m not trying to be like…I’m not trying to say that I’m such a tough guy, but I’m not the only one. There are many of us like that. The UFC is full of them. Georges isn’t one of those. He’s a tactician and that’s all well and good as well.”
Bisping went on to mention that in some instances, when someone is hit hard enough, “it diminishes their soul.”
Michael Bisping will be facing former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in a championship title fight, thought the specific event and date has not yet been revealed.
