The main event of last night’s UFC 209 has been met with mixed reactions. UFC analyst Dan Hardy recently added his thoughts on the fight and he did not seem to have many positive things to say. Tyron Woodley was quick to respond.
Last night’s UFC 209 event saw UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson go toe-to-toe for the belt in a very technical and methodical title fight main event rematch.
Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy had this to say about the main event. “Worst welterweight title fight I’ve ever seen. Woodley owes the fans better performances.” Hardy said over Twitter.
Woodley later responded with, “Wow thought we were cool.”
Woodley defeated Thompson via majority decision, thereby avenging his recent majority draw against “Wonderboy” at UFC 205.
