Fedor Emelianenko Is Not A Fan Of Chael Sonnen’s Personality

During Bellator’s recent press conference, Chael Sonnen put on a bit of a show. The least amused was MMA veteran Fedor Emelianenko.

Emelianenko is set to face Matt Mitrione again. With the fight rescheduled, the two warriors will meet in the cage on June 24 at Bellator 180.

Emelianenko recently gave his thoughts on Sonnen’s recent antics during the press event. As transcribed by Bloody Elbow, Emelianenko said

“I think you should always be in control of yourself. I also feel that the more an individual talks outside of the ring, the less he does in the ring.

“I don’t agree nor condone that type of behavior among, not just people, but sportsmen within the sport as an athlete.”
