MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko was set to make his Bellator debut at Bellator 172. The veteran was so close to achieving his debut, that he made it into the arena. Then, moments before his main event was set to start, opponent Matt Mitrione was stricken with kidney stones.
Now it would appear that things are back on track. As reported by the New York Post, The two warriors are set to face off in the co-main event of Bellator 180 on June 24 inside Madison Square Garden.
In the main event, former UFC warrior Chael Sonnen will face off against Wanderlei Silva.
