After rising to the top of the UFC’s first all-female TUF season, Former UFC strawweight champion Carla Esparza dropped her title in her very first defense of it.
She then took more than 12-months to return to action in a winning effort against Julianna Lima. Back on track, the California based fighter returned at last month’s Canadian card. She then lost to unranked Rando Markos.
With her recent stint of poor performances, fight fans don’t really know what’s next for the former top female in the UFC. Much like Ronda Rousey, Carla’s best performances seem to be behind her.
At least she’s still hitting social media with cute updates.
