In the summer of 2015, the UFC began implementing their new uniform deal with Reebok. Since the implementation, UFC competitors must wear Reebok apparel in the octagon.
The signing has drawn in a its fair share of income, but has not been met with universal praise. Renowned MMA journalist Ariel Helwani has recently gone to Twitter to double down on his point of view concerning the promotion’s recent uniformity.
“Exhibit 45698 why making fighters look the exact same makes no sense.” Helwani posted to Twitter, alongside an image of Invicta’s atomweight Jinh Yu Frey decked out in a Kill Bill savvy jumpsuit.
