The UFC has been having some issues with locking in fighters post-contract as of late. Many prominent MMA warriors have been opting for free agency after completing their contracted fights for the UFC promotion.
All in all, here are 16 former UFC fighters who have opted for free agency in recently. Rival promotions Bellator has snared the attention of half of the mentioned fighters. Rising Russian promotion Absolute Championship Berkut has attracted four competitors on its own, while Rizin and EFN also played factors in the free agency toss up.
