Atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki tried her hand in the strawweight division against former strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza in tonight’s Invicta FC 22 co-main event.
The fight opened strongly with Hamasaki pushing the pace on Souza. Souza managed to land a few effective counters, before Hamasaki attempted to retaliate.
Unfortunately for the atomweight champion, Souza caught her opponent with a powerful right hand that knocked her flat to the mat.
