Toulouse, France faced a terrible tragedy in March of 2012, as a lone gunman opened fire on a group of children.
As reported by The Washington Post, three children and a rabbi were killed just outside of a Jewish school in Toulouse, while six students were wounded.
The lone gunman operated two pistols, after arriving on a motor scooter, and opened fire outside of the school. After forcing many of the students to flee, the gunman followed them into a courtyard.
The Washington Post noted that law enforcement were led to believe that the attack was linked to the killing of three soldiers in the previous week, perhaps revealing a political motive to the attacks.
