Joe Rogan Sides With D.C. In UFC 210 Poster Protest

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier is set to defend his title in an epic rematch main event against No. 1 contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson at UFC 210. The promotions for the event have not gone without their controversy. Many find that the promotion for the vent has heavily favored the challenger, Johnson, over the champion.

UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has put forth his two cents on the promotion in a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Looking at the promotional poster for the event, as seen in the video above, Rogan said “That’s ridiculous. This poster is ridiculous.” The poster features Johnson, looming over a smaller image of Cormier.

The podcast crew continued to question the image, with Brendan Schaub adding “Obviously Johnson is a KO artist and he’s winning, but D.C’s your champ man.”

Cormier and Johnson are set to fight at UFC 210 in Buffalo, New York on April 8.
