“The Eagle” seems to have landed in Switzerland, as a recently discovered image would suggest.
UFC lightweight contender Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov has had some serious tribulations over the past weeks. After being rushed to the hospital for weight management issues, Nurmagomedov was forced out of the UFC 209 main event. The warrior missed his shot at taking on Tony Ferguson for the lightweight interim title.
Following that, Nurmagomedov’s dear AKA coach Walter F. Carvalho Sr. has passed away.
Following these recent tragedies, Nurmagomedov may be spending a little deserved time off in Switzerland.
Most recently, it was reported that “The Eagle” will be holding an open workout in Moscow on April 1.
