Mic’d Up! Here’s The Hurtful Words Khabib & Ferguson Exchanged During Yesterday’s Staredown!

Before the cancellation of tomorrow night’s co-main event, UFC lightweights Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson were starring down and getting under each other’s skin.

In the latest episode of UFC Embedded, the two fighters had some choice words for each other.

When trying to separate the two fighters, UFC president Dana White said “Ya’ll are scaring me.”

As “The Eagle” began to approach Ferguson, Nurmagomedov said, “Take off your glasses.” But Ferguson quickly shot back with, “Have fun with that weight cut.”

It has since been revealed that Nurmagomedov was pulled from tomorrow night’s event, due to weight management complications.

The co-main event of UFC 209 has since been cancelled, leaving Ferguson out of the match entirely.

UFC 209 will take place Saturday in the Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena with welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson fighting it out in the title fight rematch main event.
