UFC welterweight Nick Diaz has gone to Twitter to claim that former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre was permitted an extra pound in his weigh-in for UFC 158.
This is coming off of the heels of a video recently published video by the Diaz brothers of an alleged commission member admitting that “Rush” and Nick Diaz were both being permitted 0.9 lbs above or under 170 lbs for UFC 158 weigh-ins.
In the recent tweet, Diaz said “GSP 0.9 LB ALLOWANCE IN TITLE FIGHT AGAINST NICK DIAZ.”
Nick Diaz and Georges St-Pierre fought at UFC 158 for the welterweight title. Diaz would go on to lose the match by way of unanimous decision.
