At least thirty people have been killed in a double suicide bomb attack on Wednesday that took place in Damascus, Reuters reports. The first bomber had targeted the Palace of Justice in Damascus near Old City. The second suicide bomber blasted a resturaunt which was just west of the first attack, state media reported.
Justice Minister Najm al-Ahmad said on state media that the bomber was wearing a military uniform. He said, “While security forces were searching people, as we have very restricted security measures at palaces of justice, they found out about this person who was wearing a fake military uniform. He forced himself among a crowd of civilians.”
