ONE Championship 54: Kings of Destiny is beginning to churn and bubble into an exciting card, as the main event for the promotion’s April show has been announced.
Officials have announced that ONE Lightweight Champion Edward Folayang is set to defend his title against Ev Ting in the main event of ONE Championship 54.
This will be Folayang’s first defense of the title, as he snagged the belt back at ONE Championship: Defending Honor from former champion Shinya Aoki.
While the champion is currently on a three fight win streak, Ev Ting is quickly gaining momentum with his win over former UFC fighter Kamal Shalorus granting him a four fight winning stride. Shalorus defeated Folayang back in 2013 via unanimous decision at ONE FC 9.
The rest of the fight card has not yet been revealed, but ONE Championship 54 will take place on April 22 inside the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
