Winning by second round rear-naked choke, Rose “Thug” Namajunas earned a decisive victory at UFC on FOX 24 in her bout against No. 6 ranked strawweight Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson. After Michelle Waterson’s loss, the “Karate Hottie” decided to let her fans know that she is doing just fine.
“Couple of bumps and bruises but I’m healthy. A sleepless night trying to breakdown my fight. I know it was the little things that cost me, and at this level it is the little things that count. The reason I love to fight is because it keeps me honest with myself. I know what I am capable of… Time to get back to work. Thank you everybody who supports me throughout my journey.” Waterson said over Instagram.
In the night’s main event, flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson successfully defended his belt from challenger Wilson Reis. The champion tied Anderson Silva for most consecutive title defenses in the history of the promotion, with ten defenses now under his belt.
