Diehard fans of the sport have followed the brothers throughout their careers in Strikeforce, PRIDE, and Ultimate Fighting Championship to watch them become two of the most popular fighters in the sport today.
Nick, the older brother of Nate, has been a guiding light in the life of his little brother. Nate followed Nick to jiu-jitsu practice simply because that’s what big brother was doing and he took to it as naturally as he possibly could.
It wasn’t long before both men were tearing up the regional scene of mixed martial arts before ultimately finding their way to the world-famous octagon. Nick quickly became one of the biggest draws in the UFC, headlining fights against fellow legends like Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva before serving a brief suspension.
