UFC lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor has had a storied career with the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion. The fighter was the first in the promotion’s history to hold two titles simultaneously and is now pursuing an epic cross-promotional bout to add to the list.
Conor McGregor is currently attempting to set up the payday of his career. The champion is trying to meet boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring for an epically lucrative cross-promotional match-up.
While the match has not been officially announced, many believe the fight to only be a matter of time. Newly released footage has revealed that one of the promotion’s veteran’s predicted the fighter’s rise years ago.
Newly released footage shows announcing veteran Bruce Buffer within the octagon after a recent victory by “Notorious.” As McGregor stand elated with joy, Buffer can be seen leaning over to referee “Big” John McCarthy. The announcer told the referee, “He will be worth $100 million in 3 years.”
