Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman is calling it quits on fighting in his home turf, for now.
Weidman is now coming off of a three fight losing streak, after facing a controversial stoppage against Gegard Mousasi at UFC 210 last night.
As announced by Karyn Bryant on UFC tonight, the former champion is deciding to fight outside of New York for a while.
UFC 210 went down in Buffalo, New York last night, with Weidman losing at New York’s UFC 205 as well. Now on a three fight losing streak, the fighter is looking to change things up.
