WWE superstar Phil “CM Punk” Brooks made his mixed martial arts debut last year. The fighter made his debut in the welterweight division within the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion.
Facing Mickey Gall at UFC 203, Phil “CM Punk” Brooks found himself quickly in over his head, as the fighter faced a submission loss within the very first round. Mickey Gall sank in a rear-naked choke 2:14 in the first round for the victory.
Following the recent loss, Brooks has provided an update on his mixed martial arts future. As reported by Daily Star, Brooks recently explained that he is working on finding a new fight. He is working through a “lower body thing” for the time being.
During a media scrum following UFC 210, UFC President Dana White admitted that the professional wrestler turned fighter is looking for another match. However, they have not yet talked things over.
