The UFC record books are rarely touched. It’s hard these days for a fighter to amount to more than those that came before.
Last night though, top UFC featherweight Cub Swanson was able to notch his name with the sport’s elite after his dominant one-sided main event against Artem Lobov.
In the fight, Cub proved why he’s ranked in the top 5 and why Artem is unranked. Cub did this by expertly dominating his opponent, all the way to the record books.
Cub landed 209 strikes in the bout, making him the king of strikes landed for the UFC/WEC fighters competing at featherweight.
Congrats Cub!
