UFC President Dana White believes the official date of Bisping vs. GSP may be revealed within a week.
UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping is set to face now returning Georges St-Pierre at an undisclosed date for his first title defense. Now, Dana White is looking to provide some insight into when we may see the two UFC veterans face off.
In a recent interview with TSN, as transcribed by Bloody Elbow, White said:
“I’m anticipating and anxiously waiting for a day, too. We’re waiting. There’s some things we have to wait for. I’m assuming probably another week I should have a date.” White said, before revealing what date he would like to see the two enter the octagon. “If it’s up to me, it’ll be in Vegas, yes, July 8.”
