UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt has gone to Twitter to shed some light on his personal life. In response to a fan’s question concerning he champion’s father, “No Love” revealed that he has just recently made contact with his dad after many years of silence.
Cody Garbrandt is set to face T.J. Dillashaw after the airing of the new season of The Ultimate Fighter. Both MMA warriors are coaching for the season, leading to an epic title fight grudge match between the two.
However, Garbrandt more recently went to Twitter to share some information on his personal life.
“My father fell into into drugs and spent majority of his life in prison still there today, my uncle has always been here!” Garbrandt explained to a questioning fan over Twitter.
Later, Garbrandt sent another tweet revealing that he has recently made contact with his father. “My father called me last week from prison first time we spoke in 10 years.” He said.
